Poipu Whale Watching Excursion | Blue Dolphin Kauai
Witness magnificent mammals dancing in the sea as their captivating songs fill the air
Every year (from Dec – March), we get a special group of visitors to the Hawaiian islands, the Humpback Whales, who migrate here from the chilly waters of Alaska to mate and birth their young.
Climb aboard a 65 ft sailing catamaran with comfortable seating, large open-air galley, and an upper observation deck. Shortly after departure, you will find yourself enjoying an afternoon sail off of Kauai’s beautiful south/west coastline. Your captain and crew are marine biology trained and will share fascinating information on whale migration and behaviors. Their goal is to get you up close to experience these gentle giants in their natural habitat, where you can potentially observe them breaching, tail slapping, and hear their songs through the boats hydrophones.
